Doug French

Doug French joined the SALTS' Board as Director in 2023. He brings diverse professional and volunteer experience including owning several companies in the media/print industry, consulting, and construction. His broad volunteer experience in the agricultural sector includes being the First President of the Alberta Paint Horse Club, Director of the Claresholm Agriplex, Director of the American Paint Horse Association and High School   Rodeo. Doug has worked and volunteered for many years for community emergency services organizations including Cardston EMS, Blood Tribe Fire and Ambulance and as Fire Chief of the Mid-River Fire Department. As a landowner along the Waterton River, Doug is passionate about wildlife and the conservation of Alberta's landscapes.
